Yes, summer is over. All the signs are there.
It’s the middle of September, the kids are back at school, and the days are
getting shorter (sunset is at 7:11 pm today). And is here yet another clear
sign that summer is really over — your first email from the Beaver Tails
Nordic Ski Club!
Now don’t get *too* excited, we are still a long way off from hitting the ski
trails! But in keeping with our custom, we like to have a long and slow
ramp-up to the ski season with activities that keep getting us outdoors, even
though the days are shorted and the temperatures are dropping. Your
Beaver Tails club is here to help fill that long gap between the end of
summer and the arrival of snow with a schedule of Wednesday evening outings and
Sunday hikes.
